Colorado Springs is an exciting community that is still growing. The consistent influx of military personnel has helped to build the local economy for over 20 years.
Outside Magazine designated Colorado Springs as the winner of 2009's "Best Places To Live," and our citizens know exactly why. The mountain climate, plentiful outdoor activities and clean, fresh air all contribute to our rich lifestyle.
Colorado Springs if full of fun things to do! We're at the base of Pikes Peak, Glen Eyrie, the Cog Railway, Garden of the Gods, the US Olympic Training Center, The US Olympic Committee, the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame, the Broadmoor Hotel, Peterson Air and Space Museum, the World Arena and so much more.
Not very far outside Colorado Springs, there are many other popular attractions and activities. Aspen is close by, as well as Vail, Breckenridge, Telluride, Copper Mountain, Monarch, Estes Park, Keystone, and several other ski resorts that are world-class.
If you're not a skier, we have several mountains that are over 14,000 feet. Hiking and orienteering are fun in the beautiful mountains and valleys. A fun day trip could include designations such as Seven Falls, The Great Sand Dunes National Park, Cave of the Winds, Royal Gorge, The Anasazi Cliff Dwellings, and other natural and man-made wonders.
